Our organization is in search of a fellowship-trained, board-certified Surgical Oncologist to enhance our team, which currently includes another surgical oncologist and an advanced practice provider. We are eager to welcome a proactive and collaborative physician who is enthusiastic about innovation and committed to expanding our established statewide cancer service line, thereby influencing the future of surgical oncology in central Iowa and the surrounding tertiary service area of 1.5 million residents. Opportunity Highlights- Case Mix: Solid tumor surgeries, cytoreduction HIPEC, major GI resections, thyroid/parathyroidectomies, Whipple procedures, and wide local excisions with SLN mapping.
- Utilization of the DaVinci Xi robotic platform equipped with teaching consoles.
- Access to onsite medical imaging, laboratory, and pharmacy services.
- Scheduled block operating room time.
- Clinic hours consist of two half days.
- Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system: EPIC.
- Involvement in General Surgery Residency Faculty.
- Two-year income guarantee of $600,000.
