Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary and middle school students near Silver Spring, MD as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist. This position begins August 10th, 2026, and continues through June 9th, 2027, covering multiple schools with the flexibility to combine assignments for a full-time schedule (37.5 hours per week). Options include serving schools such as Bollman Bridge ES, Clarksville ES, Forest Ridge ES, Elkridge Landing MS, Hammond MS, Swansfield ES (or Elkridge ES), and a possible split full-time position between Wilde Lake HS and Howard HS.

Utilize your specialized skills in speech, language, and communication disorders while making a positive difference in the lives of students within a collaborative and supportive academic environment.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active Maryland Speech-Language Pathologist license (SLP)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
  • Prior experience providing therapy in a school setting preferred
  • Ability to work onsite at designated school locations
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver evidence-based individual and group speech-language therapy to students across assigned campuses
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
  • Maintain timely and accurate records in compliance with state and district guidelines
  • Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and IEP reviews
