This full-time, contract position covers a maternity leave and runs from ASAP through late October 2026. Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active or eligible Speech-Language Pathologist license for the state
- Prior experience in a school setting, ideally supporting middle school populations
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred, but strong CFY candidates may be considered
- Solid organizational and communication skills
- Ability to establish rapport and collaborate with students, families, and staff
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to middle school students, both individually and in small groups
- Assess, develop, and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) addressing student needs
- Complete required documentation, progress notes, and reports in a timely manner
- Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, special educators, and other professionals to support student success
- Offer consultation and support to families and staff on communication strategies and interventions
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions as needed
