Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Newton, North Carolina

Step into an exciting opportunity supporting young learners by providing Speech-Language Pathology services across two dynamic school sites: elementary and preschool settings. This contract position is perfect for both experienced SLP-CCCs and Clinical Fellows (CFY) ready to make an impact during the 2026-27 academic year. You’ll work onsite with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams for a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, helping children develop essential communication skills that set the stage for lifelong success.

Qualifications:

• Valid state licensure or eligibility for SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY status
• Experience or strong interest in pediatric, educational, or healthcare-related SLP
• Familiarity with school-based practices such as IEP development, progress monitoring, and service delivery
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
• Ability to document services in ECATS & Medicaid systems
• Commitment to delivering direct therapy as well as consultative and support services

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication evaluations
• Deliver direct and indirect SLP services for students at both elementary and preschool levels
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support IEP goals
• Attend and actively participate in IEP meetings
• Maintain detailed records and timely documentation in ECATS & Medicaid platforms
• Provide consultative support for teachers and staff to help integrate communication strategies in classrooms
