ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist for a full-time, onsite contract position in Modesto, California, for the 2026-2027 school year. This opportunity provides the chance to support students across K-12 grade levels while collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote communication development and academic success. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with students and providing high-quality speech-language services in a school-based environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language evaluations, assessments, and therapy services for students in grades K-12.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student communication needs.
  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services in individual and group settings.
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, administrators, and families to support student progress.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goal development.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and service records.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed.
  • Provide onsite support within assigned school locations.

Qualifications:

  • Active California Speech-Language Pathologist license required.
  • Appropriate California school-based credential required, if applicable.
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Licensing assistance available for qualified candidates.

Experience:

  • Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred.
  • Experience working with K-12 student populations is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with IEP processes, evaluations, and multidisciplinary collaboration preferred.
