ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist for a full-time, onsite contract position in Modesto, California, for the 2026-2027 school year. This opportunity provides the chance to support students across K-12 grade levels while collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote communication development and academic success. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with students and providing high-quality speech-language services in a school-based environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language evaluations, assessments, and therapy services for students in grades K-12.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student communication needs.
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services in individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, administrators, and families to support student progress.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goal development.
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and service records.
- Monitor student progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed.
- Provide onsite support within assigned school locations.
Qualifications:
- Active California Speech-Language Pathologist license required.
- Appropriate California school-based credential required, if applicable.
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Licensing assistance available for qualified candidates.
Experience:
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred.
- Experience working with K-12 student populations is beneficial.
- Familiarity with IEP processes, evaluations, and multidisciplinary collaboration preferred.
