\n \nJob Description:
\nProduction Control Kitter/ Forklift Driver is primarily responsible for operating forklifts in a safe manner to support kitting and production needs. Secondary responsibility is loading, unloading, and moving fabricated materials in a timely manner to designated locations on the production floor.
\n \nRoles & Responsibilities

Maintain Forklift Certification
\n - \n
Deliver fabricated palleted material to production floor using forklift.
\n - \n
Properly dispose of material waste using forklift
\n - \n
Safely perform duties in accordance with company and OSHA guidelines.
\n - \n
Load, unload, and move fabricated materials by hand or pallet jack.
\n - \n
Sort and deliver fabricated materials to designated production locations.
\n - \n
Verify fabricated material quantities are correct and meet visual acceptance criteria.
\n - \n
Report any discrepancies to lead or supervisor.
\n - \n
Assist in inventory audits,
\n - \n
Weigh fabricated material for disposal.
\n - \n
Daily 5S sorting and cleanup.
\n - \n
Attend daily stand-up meetings.
\n - \n
Must be able to work overtime as required.
\n - \n
Be able to work independently or in a team environment.
\n - \n
Prioritize and manage time efficiently.
\n - \n
Other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions

Commercial/Industrial environment requiring wearing of Personal Protective Equipment

Will require time working outside in an excessive heat environment.
\n
Qualifications

Must have a Valid US Driver License.
\n - \n
Previous forklift certification preferred.
\n
- \n
- \n
Forklift spotter training.
\n - \n
Operation of manual and electronic pallet jacks.
\n - \n
Abe to individually carry and move material up to 35 pounds.
\n
