Position OverviewHand and Upper Extremity Orthopedic Surgeon
In this role, you will concentrate on essential surgical procedures related to the hand and upper extremities, with an expected annual volume of hand surgeries and considerable potential for growth. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide array of procedures, including:
- Tendon and nerve repair
- Fracture fixation
- Carpal and cubital tunnel release
- Trigger finger release
- Thumb CMC arthroplasty
- Wrist arthroscopy
- Ligament reconstruction
- Deformity correction
- Selected shoulder and elbow procedures
- Must possess a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree.
- Must have a valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in Georgia.
- Board Eligible or Board Certified status is preferred.
- Must hold a valid DEA certificate without restrictions.
- Experience in outpatient medical practice is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills are essential.
- Proficiency in computer usage is required.
