Oral Health - Chief Oral Maxillofacial Surgeon
Job Description
Our organization is seeking a full-time oral and maxillofacial surgeon to take on the role of Chief of Oral Health within the Department of Surgery's Division of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.
This role entails engaging in a comprehensive oral and maxillofacial surgery practice while also providing administrative leadership for both OMFS and Dentistry. Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing clinical practices and administrative functions
- Delivering didactic and clinical training for residents
- Participating in outreach and philanthropic initiatives
- Collaborating with community organizations
- Supporting and promoting clinically focused research
Additionally, there are endowments available for academic endeavors. The Division also supervises a general practice residency alongside the oral and maxillofacial surgery residency.
QualificationsApplicants must possess a DDS or DMD degree and hold board certification in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Credentials and experience should align with the qualifications for an academic appointment at the Associate Professor or Professor level.
Compensation and BenefitsThis position offers a competitive salary and benefits package, which includes:
- Starting salary ranging from $159,000 to $985,945
- Compensation based on academic rank and experience
