Job Description
Summary:
\nThe CDL Driver will be responsible for moving trucks and trailers at our Mauldin Site. This includes the need to support operations during high demand times to ensure the success of the business.
\nJob Duties:
\n- \n
- Follow and abide by company safety policies and procedures. \n
- Moving loaded and empty trailers at our Mauldin SC facilty. \n
- Move equipment to our shop for repair and picking up repaired equipment as necessary. \n
- Loading, unloading, and safely transporting hazardous and non-hazardous materials and operation of fleet and facility equipment. \n
- a) Types of equipment include, but are not limited to: vac trucks, vac tankers, bulk tankers, roll off equipment, walking floor trailers, dump trailers, and dry van trailers. \n
- During loading procedures, the facility driver will need to verify legal axle and gross DOT weights for outgoing loads utilizing plant scales. \n
- Keep trailer drop yard neat and orderly. \n
- Work directly with plant operations in support of loading, unloading, yard checks and various other duties. \n
- Safe and responsible operation of assigned equipment while maintaining appearance of company equipment to meet company standards. \n
- Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/ or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards, and guidelines. \n
- Ability to make minor repairs is a plus (light bulbs, fuses, minor air leaks. \n
- Ability to identify and report equipment malfunction or damage. \n
Requirements:
\n1.Must not be disqualified to drive a commercial motor vehicle under rules and regulations set forth in CFR 49 Part 391.15.

- Possess a valid commercial drivers' license with at least three (3) years of verifiable driving experience. \n
- CDL driver must have a good driving history and be able to pass a background check. \n
- Be physically and mentally qualified to drive a commercial motor vehicle and pass a DOT physical as defined in 49 CFR Part 391. \n
- The position requires a Class A CDL with Tanker endorsement. \n
- HAZMAT Endorsement preferred. We are willing to work with the right candidate to obtain the HAZMAT endorsement. \n
- Be able to read and speak English to sufficiently converse with the general public, understand traffic signs and signals, to respond to official inquiries, and make entries on reports and records. \n
- Efficiently able to operate a manual transmission (NO automatic restrictions). \n
- Must meet requirements and able to perform all tasks and essential duties of but not limited to the job description. \n
