Contract – 12 months contract (possibility to go perm)

Pay Rate – $50 USD hourly on W2

Shift : 2nd Shift, M-F, 3:30 pm to 12:00 midnight.

Job Description:

Position Summary:

  • Seeking an experienced Manufacturing Manager to lead high-volume server manufacturing operations within our Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG). This role is responsible for driving operational excellence across production, quality, safety, cost, delivery, and workforce development while ensuring manufacturing goals are achieved in a fast-paced environment.
  • The Manufacturing Manager will oversee production performance, develop frontline leadership teams, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and partner with cross-functional organizations to support customer commitments and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operations Leadership:
  • Lead day-to-day manufacturing operations across multiple production lines and functional areas.
  • Manage Production Supervisors, Line Leads, and manufacturing associates to achieve operational goals.
  • Ensure production schedules are executed efficiently while meeting quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
  • Monitor and drive performance against key operational metrics and KPIs.
  • Workforce Planning & Development:
  • Develop staffing strategies to support production growth and capacity requirements.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop supervisors and frontline leaders.
  • Drive employee engagement, accountability, and a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Partner with HR and Talent Acquisition to support hiring, onboarding, and workforce planning initiatives.
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Champion Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and operational excellence initiatives.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase throughput, improve efficiency, and reduce waste.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective action activities for operational challenges.
  • Drive cost savings and productivity improvement projects.
  • Quality & Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety requirements, and company policies.
  • Partner with Quality and Engineering teams to resolve production issues and improve product reliability.
  • Support ISO, regulatory, and customer audit requirements.
  • Production Planning & Capacity Management:
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Quality, and NPI teams to align resources with production demands.
  • Support capacity planning and operational readiness for new product introductions.
  • Monitor material availability, labor utilization, and equipment readiness to ensure production continuity.
  • Business Management:
  • Own departmental performance including Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and People metrics.
  • Support budget planning and cost management initiatives.
  • Present operational updates, workforce forecasts, and improvement plans to senior leadership.
  • Develop and execute strategies to meet short- and long-term business objectives.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of manufacturing experience in a high-volume production environment.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience managing supervisors and large production teams.
  • Experience in electronics, technology, server, or PC manufacturing environments preferred.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, production planning, quality systems, and workforce management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with server, electronics, or technology manufacturing.
  • Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma certification.
  • Experience with SAP, ERP, MES, and WMS systems.
  • Proven success leading large-scale manufacturing ramp-ups.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and KPI management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive operational improvements.
  • Experience supporting high-growth manufacturing environments.
