Locums Hospitalist Physician in Springfield, Vermont - 24-Hour Solo Coverage, Short-Term Assignment

Provide independent hospitalist coverage in a small inpatient setting with 24-hour solo shifts managing adult admissions and rounding. This short-term assignment is ideal for physicians comfortable with autonomous rural practice.

• 24-hour solo hospitalist coverage
• Small inpatient hospital setting
• Independent practice with adult admissions and rounding
• Short-term coverage assignment

• Inpatient hospital medicine caring for adult patients
• Average daily census of approximately 7 patients
• Perform ventilator management, intubations, and central line placement
• Access to consulting surgical and medical specialties during normal business hours

• 24-hour shifts with approximately 12-15 hours on site and overnight in-house call
• On-site coverage with overnight call responsibilities
• Coverage available for designated shift blocks
• Daytime rounding and admissions throughout each assignment

• Must be an MD or DO
• Board Certified in Hospital Medicine with CAQ
• Active Vermont medical license required
• ACLS certification required

• Hotel provided for the first night of arrival
• Standard travel reimbursement with rental car or mileage reimbursement
