These positions are located onsite, offering the chance to collaborate closely with educators and students in a dynamic setting.
Position Details:
- Elementary/Early Childhood Special Education – focus on foundational academic and social skills (Seabrook)
- High School Multi-Categorical Special Education – support students with a variety of learning profiles (Bluffton)Both roles offer a 37.5-hour work week, ensuring stability and routine throughout the academic year. The assignment runs from August 3, 2026, through May 28, 2027, providing ample opportunity to make a lasting impact over the course of the school year.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification (current and eligible for the state)
- Experience working with elementary/early childhood or high school students in diverse special education settings
- Strong skills in IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
- Ability to collaborate with general education teachers, families, and support staff
- Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to positive student outcomes
Position Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored instruction aligned with students’ IEPs
- Conduct ongoing assessments and modify lessons as needed
- Provide direct academic and behavioral interventions
- Foster an inclusive, respectful classroom environment
