Teacher's Aide - Denver, Colorado

Desired qualifications:

• Experience as a school paraprofessional, with a strong background in behavior support
• Demonstrated proficiency working with significant and severe caseloads within an educational setting
• Flexibility to adapt and transition among schools and age groups as needed
• Ability to reliably report to work by 7:40am for elementary or 8:00am for middle/high school assignments
• Reliable personal transportation is a must (public transit, taxi, or rideshare are not accepted for daily commute needs)
• Must be willing and able to assist students with toileting and diapering when necessary
• Clean background check required; prompt fingerprinting following offer acceptance; any criminal charges will result in disqualification

Responsibilities:

• Support students’ academic, behavioral, and personal care needs under the guidance of instructional staff
• Implement individualized behavioral interventions and classroom support strategies
• Assist in documentation, progress tracking, and daily classroom routines
• Provide toileting and hygiene assistance as needed to ensure student comfort and dignity
• Adapt quickly to new environments and shifting daily assignments while maintaining a supportive, positive attitude
