Job Description
Make a meaningful impact supporting students as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a dynamic school-based setting! Two full-time contract opportunities are currently available for qualified SLPs interested in offering in-person services at elementary schools across Washington and Greene counties. These roles require close collaboration with teachers, special educators, and families, focusing on helping diverse student populations build crucial communication skills.
Key Qualifications:
- Current PA SLP Educator Certificate required
- SLP-CCC preferred; strong school-based SLP experience highly desired
- Commitment and ability to commute between assigned school locations
- Experience managing school-age caseloads; background with IEPs and progress reporting
- Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills
- Team-oriented with a passion for supporting student success
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct, in-person speech and language therapy services
- Attend all scheduled training sessions in August; actively participate in team meetings
- Manage assigned caseloads (up to 50 students) and complete documentation in compliance with school and state regulations
- Design and implement individualized therapy plans; collaborate with general and special education staff
- Travel to multiple school sites as assigned (travel reimbursement available)
- Monitor student progress and communicate regularly with staff and families
- Maintain data and provide input during IEP meetings
Work Details:
- Positions at Washington Park Elementary and across several sites in Washington/Greene Counties
- Training in mid-August; school year runs through early June
- Full-time hours: 7:30 AM – 3:00 PM on school days
- All services delivered onsite and in person
