Key Qualifications:
- Valid PEL with School Psychologist endorsement required
- Experience serving students within PreK–8 educational settings highly valued
- Flexibility to support a caseload at any grade level, with assignments determined by district needs
- Bilingual abilities in Spanish are preferred and will enhance your ability to serve diverse student populations
- Strong collaboration, assessment, and communication skills
- Commitment to providing both individual and group services in accordance with best practices
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations for students across all grade levels (PreK–8)
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement effective academic and behavioral interventions
- Create data-driven reports and participate in Individualized Education Plan (IEP) and eligibility meetings
- Provide crisis intervention and counseling services as needed
- Advocate for student well-being and support positive school climate initiatives
- Stay abreast of current educational policies and best practices in school psychology
