Required Skills & Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license, with eligibility to work in a school environment.
- Previous experience providing OT services in schools is highly valued.
- Strong understanding of IEPs, progress monitoring, and school-based documentation.
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with families and staff.
- Flexibility and creativity in adapting interventions to meet diverse student needs.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students, both individually and in groups, in accordance with IEP goals.
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans that support student success in academic and functional activities.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to IEP meetings with recommendations and progress updates.
- Offer strategies and training to teachers and parents to support carryover of skills in the classroom and home.
- Consult with school personnel to provide input on accommodations or modifications that promote student inclusion.
