Quality Inspector I-A2/B
Job Description
Our client, a leading organization in the medical device manufacturing industry, is seeking a Quality Inspector I-A2/B to join their team. As a Quality Inspector I-A2/B, you will be part of the Quality Assurance department supporting inspection and compliance activities. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Quality Inspector I-A2/B
Location: Salt Lake City, UT
Pay Range: $20.33
Shift: Rotating Night Shift (6:30 PM – 6:30 AM)
What's the Job?
- Perform accurate mechanical, physical, and visual inspections of raw materials, components, and sub-assemblies
- Use microscopes, calipers, and micrometers to ensure product quality
- Document inspection results accurately and thoroughly
- Support non-conformance reports and corrective action activities
- Follow all procedural requirements to maintain compliance with quality standards and regulations
What's Needed?
- High School diploma or GED; technical degree preferred
- Basic computer skills for documentation and data entry
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions and engineering drawings
- Experience with microscopes, calipers, and micrometers in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of FDA regulations and cGMP standards is a plus
