Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional care to patients recovering from open-heart surgery.
• Utilize clinical judgment to assess and manage patient responses to various health conditions.
• Collaborate with the NISUS research team on national clinical trials.
• Float to similar units as required.
• Adhere to a strict attendance policy.
• Follow the facility’s standards for patient care and safety.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of ICU experience.
• Experience with EKG interpretation.
• Willingness to float to related units as necessary.
• Valid Michigan RN license (verification required).
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Completion of a skills checklist within one year of application.
• At least 1 year of experience in a relevant setting.
