Job Description
Become a WIC Peer Counselor! Provide support to new mothers by assisting them with successful breastfeeding. Connecting with other mothers who understand the challenges you face can be beneficial during pregnancy or early motherhood. This is the purpose of WIC peer counselors, who are mothers experienced in breastfeeding. They offer information and encouragement to other moms. The WIC Program operates Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Wednesday from 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
