Job Description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing essential occupational therapy services within a supportive school environment. You’ll work closely with a small caseload of approximately eight students, delivering personalized OT interventions and assessments both on-site and via teletherapy. With a schedule of just one day per week from 7:45AM to 2:45PM, you’ll enjoy meaningful, focused interactions with students—making a real difference in their academic and personal growth.
Key Qualifications:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based OT, home health, and teletherapy settings
- Current Medicaid NCI # required
- Successful completion of a background check
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
- Commitment to student-centered, evidence-based practice
Your Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and design individualized treatment plans aligned with students' educational needs
- Deliver occupational therapy services in-person and via teletherapy to ensure accessibility
- Document progress, maintain compliance with Medicaid and school documentation requirements, and participate in IEP meetings as needed
- Offer strategies and training to support teachers in carrying out accommodations within the classroom
- Collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams to optimize student outcomes
