Job Description
Step into a rewarding role supporting K-8 students at the elementary level as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) on a contract basis for the upcoming school year. Work onsite near Seneca, SC, delivering high-quality speech and language services to a caseload of 45-60 students. The position begins August 10 and runs until June 4. Enjoy a consistent weekday schedule, working from 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM, totaling 22.5 hours per week.
Candidates must be comfortable working onsite, as this opportunity does not offer a teletherapy option. The setting provides the chance to collaborate directly with students, teachers, and families, making a lasting impact in the school community.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure for SLPs
- Prior experience in a school setting serving K-8 is preferred
- Ability to manage a caseload of 45-60 students independently and efficiently
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Comfort and enthusiasm working onsite
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver direct therapy services to a diverse K-8 student population
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain up-to-date documentation and progress reports for all students served
