School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Seneca, South Carolina

Step into a rewarding role supporting K-8 students at the elementary level as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) on a contract basis for the upcoming school year. Work onsite near Seneca, SC, delivering high-quality speech and language services to a caseload of 45-60 students. The position begins August 10 and runs until June 4. Enjoy a consistent weekday schedule, working from 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM, totaling 22.5 hours per week.

Candidates must be comfortable working onsite, as this opportunity does not offer a teletherapy option. The setting provides the chance to collaborate directly with students, teachers, and families, making a lasting impact in the school community.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• Valid state licensure for SLPs
• Prior experience in a school setting serving K-8 is preferred
• Ability to manage a caseload of 45-60 students independently and efficiently
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Comfort and enthusiasm working onsite

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Deliver direct therapy services to a diverse K-8 student population
• Collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain up-to-date documentation and progress reports for all students served
