Qualifications & Desired Background:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Valid state licensure as an SLP and current CCC from ASHA required
- Proven school-based experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Proficiency developing and implementing AAC solutions for students with complex needs
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with educators, families, and other support staff
- Ability to manage a caseload, maintain accurate documentation, and deliver individualized and group therapy
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct onsite speech and language services to students in a school setting
- Evaluate, diagnose, and create individualized treatment plans
- Integrate AAC technologies for students who benefit from alternative communication methods
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to support student progress
