Qualifications:

• Previous experience teaching in a special education environment preferred

Responsibilities:

• Teach, guide, and support students with diverse exceptionalities in a self-contained classroom focused on life skills
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique needs
• Create a positive, structured, and encouraging learning environment
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, parents, and administrators
• Utilize a variety of instructional strategies and accommodations to maximize student learning and growth
