Key Responsibilities- Provide gastroenterology coverage during 24-hour call shifts.
- Manage an average of 2 to 5 consultations daily.
- Work in both inpatient and outpatient environments.
- Perform upper GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, and sigmoidoscopy procedures.
- Conduct esophageal dilatation, manometry, and small bowel biopsy.
- Insert and manage Sengstaken/Blakemore tubes.
- Anticipate ongoing coverage needs.
