Our organization in Mason City, Iowa, is thrilled to present a fantastic opportunity for an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) to become a part of our Cardiothoracic Team!
Opportunity Highlights- Join a dynamic practice alongside 1 Cardiothoracic Surgeon and 1 Advanced Practice Provider (APP).
- Participate in a 1:2 call schedule, with APPs averaging 10-15 calls per year for procedures. Call commitment is 10 days per month.
- Engage in a comprehensive range of cardiology services, including non-invasive, invasive, interventional, and electrophysiology, in collaboration with cardiac and vascular surgery teams.
- Be part of a cardiology team comprising 10 physicians, 7 APPs, and 10 fellows.
- Work at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center, a 342-bed regional referral teaching hospital.
- Experience a Level III Trauma Center with a fully staffed emergency department available 24/7, along with hospitalist services, helicopter transport, and cutting-edge catheterization labs.
- Join a dedicated team focused on delivering compassionate, effective care for cardiovascular diseases and promoting overall health.
- Attractive guaranteed base salary starting at $180,905 per year, plus a $25,000 signing bonus and $30,000-$35,000 in call pay annually—totaling over $235,000 in the first year! **This package requires prior experience in a Cardiothoracic Practice and a minimum of 100 vein harvests.
- New graduates can expect a compensation package of $157,000 per year, along with a $25,000 signing bonus and $30,000-$35,000 in call pay annually—totaling over $210,000 in the first year!
- Call pay includes a daily rate of $150, with $250 for weekends and holidays.
- Receive an additional $300 for procedure call-ins (approximately 10-15 per year).

- Board Certified as an ARNP; must be eligible for an Iowa medical license, DEA, and CSA, along with obtaining medical staff privileges at MercyOne North Iowa.
- Experience is preferred, with a minimum of 100 vein harvests required.
- All offers are contingent upon successful completion of reference checks, background screening, pre-employment physical, and drug testing.
- Population of approximately 30,000, making it the largest urban center in northern Iowa.
- Located just 2 hours from both Minneapolis and Des Moines.
