12-Month Fixed-Term Contract

£55,000 - £60,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

We are currently recruiting for a Change Manager to join a leading Housing Association. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced change professional to play a key role in delivering large-scale transformation, business improvement, and organisational change initiatives across the organisation.

\n

Working closely with senior stakeholders, project teams, communications, HR, technology, and operational colleagues, the successful candidate will lead change management activity throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring new processes, systems, and ways of working are successfully adopted and embedded across the business.

Change Manager - Duties and Responsibilities:

    \n
  • Lead the delivery of change management activities across a portfolio of transformation and business improvement programmes
  • \n
  • Develop and implement change strategies to support the successful adoption of new systems, processes, and ways of working
  • \n
  • Provide expert advice, guidance, and support to project teams and stakeholders on change management best practice
  • \n
  • Conduct impact assessments, stakeholder analysis, change readiness reviews, and adoption planning activities
  • \n
  • Develop and deliver communications, engagement plans, and change interventions to drive successful outcomes
  • \n
  • Monitor and measure change adoption, benefits realisation, and programme effectiveness using data and insight
  • \n
  • Support the ongoing development and continuous improvement of the organisation's change management framework and methodologies
  • \n
  • Provide assurance that change activities are being delivered in line with established frameworks, governance, and corporate objectives
  • \n
  • Collaborate with Directors, Heads of Service, Leadership Teams, HR, Technology, Procurement, and Communications teams to support successful change delivery
  • \n
  • Identify risks, develop mitigation plans, and escalate issues where necessary to ensure programme success
  • \n
  • Support benefits tracking, business planning, and target operating model activities across transformation programmes
  • \n
  • Drive continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and implementing best practice approaches across the organisation
  • \n

Change Manager - Ideal Candidate:

\n
    \n
  • Previous experience leading organisational change, transformation, business improvement, or cultural change programmes
  • \n
  • Previous experience within housing, property, public sector, or other regulated environments
  • \n
  • Strong knowledge of change management methodologies and practical application within complex organisations
  • \n
  • Experience managing stakeholder engagement across multiple business functions and seniority levels.
  • \n
  • Demonstrable experience conducting change impact assessments, readiness assessments, and adoption planning
  • \n
  • Strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills with the ability to engage senior leadership teams
  • \n
  • Knowledge of project and programme management principles
  • \n
  • Experience using data, reporting, and insight to shape change interventions and measure success
  • \n
  • Understanding of benefits realisation, business planning, and target operating model concepts
  • \n
  • Strong risk management skills with the ability to identify issues and implement effective mitigation strategies
  • \n
  • Excellent relationship-building skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across large, complex organisations
  • \n
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • \n
