JWB Recruitment are recruiting for a Duct Fitter to work with an established M&E company.

Overview

Were looking for an experienced Duct Fitter to join a well-established mechanical contractor delivering installation works on new-build care home projects across England. Youll be installing plastic MVE ductwork, AHU connections, and AC duct systems as part of a skilled site team.

This role involves working away Monday to Thursday, completing 12-hour shifts, with a long weekend starting Friday. Current projects include sites in Kent, Portsmouth, and Birmingham, with ongoing work nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and fit plastic MVE ductwork on new-build care home sites
\n
• Connect ductwork to AHUs, AC systems, and ventilation plant
\n
• Work from technical drawings and site plans
\n
• Ensure all installations meet quality, safety, and compliance standards
\n
• Collaborate with site supervisors and other trades to deliver projects efficiently
\n
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas to a high standard
\n
• Represent the company professionally while working away on client sites
\n

Requirements

\n
• Proven experience as a Duct Fitter or Ventilation Installer
\n
• Strong understanding of MVE duct systems, AHU connections, and AC ductwork
\n
• Comfortable working long shifts and staying away MondayThursday
\n
• Ability to work safely and independently on busy construction sites
\n
• Full UK driving licence
\n
• Right to work in the UK
