ECTs and Experienced Teachers Welcome to Apply!About the Role\nCover People are currently recruiting for an Art & Design Teacher to join a supportive and creative secondary school in Manchester, starting from September 2026 for a full term as a minimum.
\nThis is an excellent opportunity for both Early Career Teachers and experienced educators to inspire and engage students across KS3 and KS4. ECTs will benefit from a supportive induction and mentoring programme, while experienced teachers will have the opportunity to contribute to a thriving and collaborative department.
\nM1–M6 Teachers will be paid to scale from day one.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Deliver high-quality Art & Design teaching in line with national curriculum standards \n
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and GCSE Art & Design \n
- Monitor and assess pupil progress effectively \n
- Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment \n
- Support the academic and personal development of all learners \n
- Contribute positively to department planning and wider school initiatives \n
- \n
- QTS or equivalent UK teaching qualification \n
- Experience teaching KS3 and GCSE Art & Design \n
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills \n
- A passion for teaching and pupil progress \n
- Right to work in the UK \n
