The Role
\nAs Maintenance Manager / Engineering Manager, your responsibilities will include:
\n- \n
- Leading, developing and mentoring the on-site maintenance and engineering team. \n
- Creating a positive culture focused on safety, accountability and continuous improvement. \n
- Acting as the main customer contact, developing strong working relationships and ensuring exceptional service delivery. \n
- Delivering agreed KPIs for system availability, engineering performance, quality and cost. \n
- Developing preventative and predictive maintenance strategies to maximise equipment reliability. \n
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives to improve system performance and operational efficiency. \n
- Managing maintenance budgets, engineering resources and operational priorities. \n
- Ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety legislation, company procedures and engineering standards. \n
- Monitoring engineering performance through CMMS systems, reporting and performance analysis. \n
Role Requirements
\nWe're looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager / Engineering Manager with a strong technical background and proven leadership experience within a highly automated engineering environment.
\nYou'll ideally possess:
\n- \n
- Ideally Degree qualified or equivalent in Engineering or a related technical discipline. \n
- Experience within maintenance, engineering or technical services, including a minimum of three years in a management role. \n
- Experience within automated logistics, warehousing, material handling, manufacturing, FMCG or other complex engineering environments. \n
- Strong knowledge of preventative maintenance, reliability engineering and continuous improvement techniques. \n
- Experience managing engineering teams, budgets, KPIs and customer relationships. \n
- Good commercial awareness and excellent stakeholder management skills. \n
- Experience using CMMS systems and Microsoft Office. \n
- Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving abilities. \n
- A strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation and best practice. \n
