Job Title: Insurance Administrator
\nLocation: Bridgend – full-time or part-time, with hybrid working considered
\nSalary: £25,000, negotiable depending on experience

\nAn established independent insurance brokerage with a strong presence across Wales is expanding its support team due to continued growth and an increasing workload.
\n\nThe business offers the resources and insurer relationships of a growing brokerage while maintaining the personal service and supportive culture of a close-knit regional office. Employees work collaboratively, share knowledge openly and receive the training needed to build a long-term career within insurance.
\n\nRole Summary:
\nYou will provide essential administrative support to the wider account team, helping ensure payments, documents and routine client requests are handled accurately and on time. Day-to-day, this will include chasing outstanding payments and forms, issuing policy documents, updating records and supporting Account Managers and Account Executives with general administration.
\n\nThis is a good opportunity for an organised and proactive administrator looking to develop within insurance. Previous industry experience is not essential, as training will be provided, and both full-time and part-time hours can be considered. Hybrid working may also be available once you are comfortable with the firm’s systems and processes.
\n\nKey Responsibilities:
\n• Payment Administration: Contact clients regarding outstanding payments, finance agreements and defaults, helping you build confident customer communication skills.
\n• Document Management: Issue, receive and chase policy documents and forms, giving you a strong understanding of the insurance administration process.
\n• Record Maintenance: Keep client and policy records accurate and up to date, supporting the firm’s compliance and service standards.
\n• Client Communication: Handle routine telephone and email enquiries, allowing you to develop relationships with clients and colleagues.
\n• Team Support: Take ownership of general administrative tasks passed down by Account Managers and Account Executives, giving you exposure to the wider broking process.

\n• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
\n• Confidence communicating by telephone and email
\n• A proactive and dependable approach to managing tasks
\n• Previous administration or customer service experience
\n• Comfortable working with standard office software and databases
\n• An interest in learning about insurance and developing professionally
