About the Company

Our client is a well-established flooring company based in Chessington, supplying high-quality flooring products to customers across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join their warehouse team.

The Role

As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the warehouse. Working within a busy environment, you will be responsible for picking, packing, loading, unloading, and preparing flooring products for dispatch while maintaining high standards of accuracy and safety.

Key Responsibilities

\n
• Picking and packing flooring products accurately for customer orders
\n
• Loading and unloading deliveries safely and efficiently
\n
• Checking incoming stock and reporting any discrepancies
\n
• Labelling, wrapping, and preparing goods for dispatch
\n
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment
\n
• Assisting with stock control and stock takes
\n
• Moving stock within the warehouse as required
\n
• Following all health and safety procedures
\n

Candidate Requirements

\n
• Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not essential
\n
• Comfortable with manual handling and lifting heavy flooring materials
\n
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
\n
• Strong work ethic and reliability
\n
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
\n
• Good communication skills
\n
• Flexible and willing to support different areas of the warehouse when required
\n
