Residential Conveyancer - East Somerset

Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Residential Conveyancer to join a multi-site High Street law firm within Somerset

Within this role, you will oversee the full spectrum of conveyancing transactions from start to finish within a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

\n
• Manage the end-to-end conveyancing process for residential property transactions, including sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity
\n
• Draft and review legal documentation such as contracts, transfer deeds, and completion statements
\n
• Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other stakeholders to facilitate progress
\n
• Conduct property searches, land registry checks, and title investigations to ensure clear ownership
\n
• Coordinate with external solicitors and internal teams to meet transaction deadlines
\n
• Maintain accurate case files and ensure all documentation complies with legal standards
\n
• Provide clear updates to clients regarding transaction progress and address any issues promptly
\n
• Utilise IT systems efficiently to track case progress and manage client information
\n
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies throughout all conveyancing activities
\n

Requirements:

\n
• Proven experience as a Residential Conveyancer - (part or fully qualified)
\n
• Strong understanding of property law, land registry procedures, and conveyancing processes
\n
• Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction and stakeholder engagement
\n
• Proficiency with legal IT systems and case management software
\n
