\nThey are an award-winning, architect-led design and build practice specialising in residential renovations and extensions across North and East London.
\nThe practice is a RIBA Chartered Practice and actively involved with the Federation of Master Builders. The company is driven by strong principles and is committed to transforming homes — and improving lives — through thoughtful, high-quality design and construction.
\nThey are seeking a construction-experienced Estimator to join its growing build team.
\nThis role focuses on pricing and enabling residential extension and renovation projects, while supporting project management, purchasing and logistics. It offers a rare opportunity to gain in-depth exposure to the construction side of architect-led projects, with clear long-term career progression.
\nKey Duties
\nEstimating (Approx. 70%)
\n- \n
- Preparing detailed cost estimates and Bills of Quantities \n
- Reviewing architectural and structural drawings \n
- Identifying cost risks and value engineering opportunities \n
- Producing clear inclusions and exclusions \n
- Negotiating subcontractor pricing \n
- Maintaining high-quality, structured pricing data \n
Purchasing & Project Support (Approx. 30%)

- Managing supplier relationships and trade negotiations \n
- Coordinating purchasing for live construction sites \n
- Supporting project managers with variations and cost queries \n
- Ensuring logistical accuracy within project pricing \n
Requirements
\nThe ideal candidate will demonstrate:

- Proven residential estimating / quantity surveying experience \n
- Strong understanding of architectural and construction drawings \n
- High proficiency in spreadsheets (Google Sheets / Excel) \n
- Commercial awareness and negotiation ability \n
- Ability to work from the Brick Lane studio (with Friday WFH policy) \n
