Assembly Technician

Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for an Assembly Technician on behalf of our client based in Witham on a permanent basis.

The successful candidate will join a growing engineering and manufacturing business, assembling premium components and modules for some of the world's most prestigious luxury automotive brands. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a highly skilled team producing components for ultra-exclusive vehicle programmes in a modern engineering environment.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Assemble products to the required quality standards and production timescales.
\n
• Read and interpret manufacturing documentation to complete assembly tasks independently.
\n
• Identify and report any manufacturing defects during the assembly process.
\n
• Ensure all products meet the required quality standards before completion.
\n
• Prioritise workloads effectively and complete assigned tasks in a timely manner.
\n
• Support other production activities when required, including packing finished goods and assisting within the assembly department.
\n
• Adhere to all company Health & Safety procedures and quality standards.
\n

Experience, Skills & Qualifications

• Previous assembly or manufacturing experience is preferred.
\n
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
\n
• Ability to follow technical instructions and manufacturing documentation.
\n
• Reliable with a strong work ethic.
\n
• Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
\n
• Flexible approach to supporting production requirements.
\n

Hours

Monday to Friday

8:00am – 4:30pm

Overtime

Overtime is available following the successful completion of the probation period, subject to business requirements.

Salary

£12.71 per hour
