A well-established and growing accountancy practice in Hornchurch is looking to recruit a Personal Tax Semi Senior to join its tax team.This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with existing personal tax experience who is looking to continue developing their career within a supportive and professional environment. The successful candidate will work with a varied portfolio of private clients and gain exposure to a broad range of personal tax matters.Key Responsibilities\n

• Assisting with the management of a portfolio of personal tax clients
\n
• Preparing Self Assessment tax returns for individuals, directors, sole traders and partnerships
\n
• Supporting with capital gains tax and inheritance tax compliance matters
\n
• Handling client queries and corresponding with HMRC on their behalf
\n
• Ensuring tax compliance deadlines are met accurately and efficiently
\n
• Assisting senior members of the tax team with advisory projects where required
\n
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships
\n
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes and deliver an excellent client experience
\n

About You\n

\n
• Previous experience in a personal tax role within an accountancy practice
\n
• Working knowledge of UK personal tax compliance and Self Assessment
\n
• Studying towards ATT or keen to pursue further professional qualifications would be advantageous
\n
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
\n
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
\n
• Proactive approach with a willingness to learn and develop
\n
• Ability to manage workloads effectively and work to deadlines
\n
