Electrical Maintenance Engineer\n

Location: Cramlington Salary: £52,500 - £57,500 (including shift allowance)Shift Pattern: Panama Shift (42 hours per week) - 2's & 3's - Days / Nights

The Opportunity\n

We are currently recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business. The Role\n
    \n
  • Carry out routine and preventative maintenance on production equipment
  • \n
  • Diagnose and repair electrical faults across machinery and site equipment
  • \n
  • Perform calibration, validation, and corrective work on equipment such as load cells and temperature controllers
  • \n
  • Work with PLC systems (Siemens preferred) for fault finding and diagnostics
  • \n
  • Maintain and support AC/DC drives (Siemens & ABB)
  • \n
  • Work with tension control systems and industrial networks (Profibus, Profinet)
  • \n
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
  • \n
  • Work closely with the engineering team to improve reliability and performance
  • \n
  • Accurately record maintenance activities using a CMMS system
  • \n
Requirements\n
    \n
  • Completed apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering (or similar)
  • \n
  • HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent (desirable)
  • \n
  • Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • \n
  • Experience within a manufacturing or production environment
  • \n
  • Knowledge of PLCs, drives, and industrial networks
  • \n
