Goods in InspectorCertain Advantage is hiring for a Goods in Inspector based in the Oxfordshire area.This role is on a contract basis and is site-based.The CompanyWe’re working with a Manufacturing business that operates in the Aerospace sector. You’ll be results-oriented and driven to succeed.You’ll be working in a small, experienced, and collaborative team, and be responsible for:\n

- Receipt and evaluation of inspections of complex components and assemblies \n
- Ensuring compliance with all associated quality procedures, airworthiness control plans, and quality management system requirements \n
- Using aerospace knowledge and expertise to inspect finished products, thereby ensuring conformance with MAA/FAA/EASA Part 145 specifications and established quality standards, including customer requirements \n
- Maintain material batch and manufacturer traceability information \n
- Issue Discrepancy Reports \n
- Document and record non-conformance process issues \n
- Represent the Quality Management Department \n
- \n
- Knowledge of aircraft operations, materials and practices \n
- MAA Part 145 or EASA Part 145. Part21 experience could also be taken into account \n
- Knowledge of AS9100 and First Article Inspection \n
- An associate degree, two years of university or technical school within aerospace engineering, system engineering, electromechanical or similar. \n
- Logistics or Inventory management \n
- Customer-facing role in either a military or civilian aviation environment \n
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office \n
- Working knowledge of a QMS system \n

- Hourly rate of circa £22 ph via an umbrella company \n
