Job Description
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Syndicated Loans Administrator to join the London office of an established international banking organisation.
\nLocation: City of London (EC2N)
\nSalary: £55,000 – £70,000 per annum (depending on experience)
\nJob Type: Permanent, Full Time
\nPlease note: Native-level written and spoken Korean is an essential requirement.
\nThis is an exciting opportunity for a banking professional with experience in syndicated lending, loan administration or corporate banking who is looking to further develop their career within an international financial institution.
\nWorking within the Asset Management Team, you will support the administration, monitoring and ongoing management of a portfolio of corporate, financial institution and investment banking loans. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, Head Office, agent banks and external counterparties to ensure the efficient management of loan facilities.
\nKey Responsibilities

- Review facility agreements, loan documentation and internal approval conditions for new and existing loan facilities. \n
- Administer and monitor syndicated and bilateral loan facilities throughout their lifecycle. \n
- Monitor financial and non-financial covenants, reporting requirements and contractual obligations. \n
- Review notices, reports and documentation received from agent banks and loan management platforms, escalating issues where appropriate. \n
- Support the processing of amendments, waivers, consents and lender voting requests. \n
- Process loan transactions including drawdowns, repayments, interest payments and fees accurately and within required timescales. \n
- Conduct portfolio reviews, credit monitoring and asset quality assessments. \n
- Prepare management information, portfolio reports and internal monitoring documentation. \n
- Perform market, industry and borrower analysis to support ongoing portfolio monitoring. \n
- Maintain accurate records relating to loan transactions, collateral, guarantees and security documentation. \n
- Liaise with Head Office, internal credit and business teams, legal advisers, agent banks and external counterparties. \n
- Attend lender meetings and conference calls, preparing meeting notes and follow-up actions. \n
- Contribute to continuous process improvements and support the efficient operation of the Asset Management Team. \n
- Undertake additional duties as required. \n
About You
\nTo be successful in this role, you will have:
\n- \n
- Native-level written and spoken Korean. \n
- Excellent written and spoken English. \n
- The legal right to work in the UK. \n
- A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or a related discipline. \n
- At least two years' experience within a banking environment. \n
- Experience within syndicated lending, loan administration, loan operations, corporate banking, credit or asset management. \n
- Experience reviewing loan documentation and processing loan transactions would be advantageous. \n
- Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail. \n
- Excellent organisational and time management skills. \n
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently. \n
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel. \n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. \n
- A proactive, professional and collaborative approach. \n
