This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a long-term position, although temporary candidates who are interested in progressing into a permanent role will also be considered.The Role:The successful candidate will carry out a range of passive fire protection works, including:Fire stopping penetrationsInstallation of linear gap sealsWorking in line with manufacturer specifications and tested detailsCarrying out fire stopping works in occupied buildingsWorking within service risers, ceiling voids, and on top of lift carsCompleting fire stopping around lift doors and associated penetrationsProjects vary in length, with some lasting just a few days and others running for several weeks, offering a varied and interesting workload.Requirements:The ideal candidate will have:Previous experience within passive fire protectionGood knowledge of fire stopping systems and installation methodsThe ability to work to manufacturer specifications and tested detailsA strong understanding of health and safety on siteThe following qualifications would be advantageous but are not essential :FIRAS accreditationBM TRADA certificationNVQ in Passive Fire ProtectionManufacturer training certificatesWhat's on Offer:Full-time, long-term opportunityPotential van and fuel cardTemporary-to-permanent option availableVaried projects across a range of environmentsOpportunity to join a well-established and growing teamIf you have experience in passive fire protection and are looking for your next opportunity, we'd love to hear from you.
