Transport Coordinator Start date immediate Location RG12We are looking for an organised and proactive Transport Coordinator to join a busy operations team within a fast paced environmentKey responsibilitiesPrepare daily work schedules for waste service vehicles and communicate clearly with drivers and loadersManage and monitor driver performance to ensure efficiency and productivityEnsure all operational activities are carried out safely and in line with legal and environmental requirementsPlan and track vehicle servicing and inspections and manage cover for absences and breakdownsMonitor key performance indicators and produce weekly reports on vehicles mileage and related dataManage driver holidays attendance and timekeepingIdentify and resolve missed collections while maintaining strong customer communicationHandle internal and external communications professionally resolving queries and complaints effectively and escalating where requiredCandidate requirementsStrong communication and interpersonal skills across phone and emailAt least three years experience in transport or logistics planningHigh level of accuracy and accountability with a focus on achieving resultsAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamStrong commercial awareness and customer service experienceExcellent organisational skills with the ability to plan prioritise and meet deadlinesExperience in data reporting and analysisGood working knowledge of Microsoft software vehicle tracking systems and waste management software or similarStrong problem solving conflict resolution and negotiation skillsKnowledge of the waste industry is beneficial but not essentialTPBN1_UKTJ
