Position Title: Support WorkerLocation: BanburyHourly Rate: £13.64 for day hours and £12.71 for sleep-in hoursHours Per Week: VariableVacancy Type: BankJob Reference: SOLOWKSABOUT THE ROLEI am a friendly, outgoing and active gentleman diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy, living independently in my own fully adapted flat in Banbury with the support of my dedicated care team. I also enjoy spending time with my family at weekends.I am looking for caring and reliable Support Worker to join my established team and support me with all aspects of my daily life, both at home and out in the community. This includes assisting with personal care, preparing meals, moving and handling, administering medication and helping me to maintain my health, wellbeing and independence.This role is about much more than providing care. You'll also support me to enjoy the things that are important to me, whether that's listening to music, meeting up with friends, or getting out and about in the community. Every day is different, and you'll play an important part in helping me live the life I choose.ABOUT YOUI'm looking for someone who is caring, reliable, and positive, with a patient approach and a genuine commitment to supporting others. You'll be a good communicator who is respectful, trustworthy, and able to work well as part of an established team. A calm nature and a good sense of humour are equally important, as companionship is a key part of the role and it's important that we get along well.Experience supporting people with physical disabilities or complex care needs, particularly in their own home, would be an advantage, but it isn't essential. Full training will be provided, so what matters most is your attitude and willingness to learn.
