She communicates using speech, Makaton and symbols , and enjoys being outdoors, swimming, music, arts and crafts, playing with her siblings and bubbles .What youll be doingSupporting Lily with her daily routine, personal care and activitiesFollowing therapy programmes and encouraging skill developmentSupporting communication, mobility and independenceWorking closely with Lilys family, therapists and case management teamAbout youPatient, kind, reliable and nurturingExperience with or caring for young children, including personal experienceFull, clean UK driving licence and access to your own vehicleConfident driving a wheelchair accessible vehicle, or willing to learnGood communication skills and able to follow guidance and therapy plansFunctional Skills/GCSEs in Maths and English, with basic IT literacy* Female applicants only. This requirement applies under Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010 due to the personal care element of the role.Hours available : Applicants can apply for one or both rolesMorning role3 mornings per week, 6:45am8:30amAfternoon/evening role activity and therapy support3 shifts per week, 3:30pm6:30pmAdditional informationThis role is subject to an Enhanced DBS Check.
