If you're looking for a role where you'll be trusted to manage your own workload while working on a varied fleet of machinery, this could be the opportunity for you.The RoleAs a Field Service Engineer, you'll be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on a range of heavy plant and construction equipment at customer sites.You'll be the face of the business, providing a first-class service while ensuring machines are returned to service safely and efficiently.Key ResponsibilitiesService, maintain and repair heavy plant machinery at customer sites.Carry out fault finding and diagnostics on mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems.Complete planned maintenance and reactive breakdowns.Diagnose faults using manufacturer diagnostic equipment where required.Inspect machines and identify additional repair opportunities.Complete all job sheets and service reports accurately.Work closely with the parts and service departments.Maintain high standards of health and safety.Deliver an excellent level of customer service.The Ideal CandidateWe're looking to speak with engineers from one of the following backgrounds:Heavy PlantConstruction PlantAgricultural MachineryYou may currently be working as a:Heavy Plant EngineerField Service EngineerMobile Plant EngineerConstruction Plant EngineerPlant FitterAgricultural EngineerMobile Service EngineerTo be successful you'll ideally have:Experience diagnosing and repairing heavy plant or construction plant equipment.Strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault-finding skills.The ability to work independently in the field.A full UK driving licence.A positive attitude and strong customer service skills.What's on Offer?Basic salary of £40,000 - £45,000.Company van with door-to-door travel.Excellent overtime available with realistic earnings of £60,000 - £75,000.Ongoing manufacturer and technical training.Long-term career progression.Company pension.Holiday allowance.Stable, permanent employment with a growing engineering business.If you're an experienced Heavy Plant Engineer looking for a role with excellent earning potential, autonomy and genuine career development, we'd love to hear from you.Apply today or contact NEOS Engineering Recruitment for a confidential discussion.TPBN1_UKTJ
