Goods In Forklift Driver Location: Wellingborough, NorthamptonshirePay Rate: £13.06 - £13.59Job Type: Full-Time | Temp to PermShift: 8am-5pm - Monday-FridayQuest Employment is recruiting! We are looking for an experienced and reliable Goods In Forklift Driver to join a busy warehouse operation based in Wellingborough . This is an excellent opportunity for someone with Counterbalance and Reach Truck experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and is looking for a long-term opportunity.The Role As a Goods In Forklift Driver, you will play a key role in ensuring all incoming deliveries are received, checked and stored accurately. You'll be responsible for operating forklift trucks safely, unloading deliveries, inspecting stock, and supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the warehouse.Key Responsibilities Safely operate Counterbalance and Reach Truck forklifts.Unload incoming deliveries from vehicles and containers using MHE or by hand where required.Handball loose cartons when necessary.Check deliveries against delivery notes and purchase orders.Inspect incoming goods for damage, shortages or discrepancies.Store stock safely in designated warehouse locations.Ensure all products are labelled and stored correctly.Maintain high housekeeping standards within the goods-in and warehouse areas.Follow all Health & Safety procedures and company policies.Report damaged goods or delivery issues to the Warehouse Management team.Support other warehouse duties as required.What We're Looking For Valid Counterbalance and Reach Truck licences.PPT experience would be advantageous; training can be provided.Previous Goods In or warehouse experience.Good understanding of warehouse Health & Safety procedures.Experience using handheld scanners or Warehouse Management Systems is beneficial.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Good communication and teamwork skills.Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious.Physically fit and comfortable lifting and moving stock safely.Able to work on your feet for extended periods.Comfortable working in varying warehouse temperatures.What We Offer Temp to Perm opportunity.Full training and ongoing support.Friendly and supportive working environment.Opportunity to develop additional MHE skills.Weekly pay while working through Quest Employment.If you're an experienced forklift driver looking for your next opportunity, we'd love to hear from you.Apply today or contact Quest Employment Northampton for more information.TPBN1_UKTJ
