CNC Field Service Engineer

Are you a CNC Field Service Engineer with strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills who enjoys working independently across the UKWorkshop Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing engineering business with an excellent reputation for quality machinery and customer service. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced CNC Field Service Engineer to join a successful team supporting customers nationwide.You'll receive two weeks of intensive training on joining, giving you a solid understanding of the company's CNC machinery and service standards, followed by ongoing technical development and support from an experienced Service Helpdesk team.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, commission, service and repair CNC machinery at customer sites.Diagnose mechanical, electrical and pneumatic faults.Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams and technical manuals.Carry out preventative maintenance and emergency breakdown repairs.Complete accurate service reports and documentation.Deliver outstanding customer service during every site visit.Travel throughout the UK, including overnight stays on larger projects.Skills & ExperienceAt least 3 years' experience as a CNC Field Service Engineer or in a similar field service role.Background within the machinery or CNC industry.Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.Ability to read technical drawings, schematics and wiring diagrams.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Full UK driving licence.Willingness to travel nationwide and stay away when required.BenefitsOvernight allowance with an additional £50 for every night your awayOvertimeCompany CarPension schemeTPBN1_UKTJ
