Key responsibilities include:Overseeing the day-to-day delivery of wedding, conferences and eventsLeading and supporting the banqueting team throughout each eventLiaising with clients, event planners, suppliers, and hotel departmentsAttending planning meetings and client briefingsCoordinating room set-up, service, and event breakdownActing as the main point of contact for clients and VIP guests during eventsDelivering announcements and hosting events when requiredManaging and operating in-house AV equipmentMaintaining function rooms, equipment, and storage areas to a high standardHandling last-minute requests and resolving issues professionallyEnsuring exceptional customer service at every stage of the eventYour personality, experience and qualifications You'll be a confident leader with a passion for delivering exceptional events and customer service.
