Test Technician

Position:Test TechnicianJob Description:The Test Technician will support operational and engineering activities within the Swindon site, focusing on associated logistics, electronics testing, and lab support activities. This is an entry-level position suited to junior or early-career candidates.Key Responsibilities:Support stock handling and traceability of electronic productsUndertake regular deliveries of electronic products to customer sites as required, including driving a company or rental vanPerform functional and performance testing of electronic and power supply productsSupport engineering activities including product verification and validation testingAssist with end-of-line testing and production support activitiesSupport basic troubleshooting and fault investigation of products and test setupsAssist in maintaining and organising the electronics test laboratory and equipmentUse standard test equipment such as digital multimeters and oscilloscopesCandidate Requirements:Full UK driving licence requiredBasic understanding of electronics or electrical engineering (education or practical experience)Hands-on practical skills (testing, wiring, basic assembly preferred)Willingness to learn and develop technical skillsReliable and proactive approachMust be able to meet BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) requirements, including:Right to work in the UK,Proof of identity (e.g. passport or driving licence)Employment, education and/or activity history covering the previous five years,Additional Information:This role offers a combination of hands-on electronics testing and operational support activities.
