Contract Type: Ad-hoc Locum (Regular Sessions Available)
Pay: £100 per hour (£800 per day)

About the Role

We are seeking experienced General Practitioners to provide ad-hoc locum cover at St Luke's Primary Care Centre in Northampton.

With regular sessions available throughout the year, this is an excellent opportunity for GPs looking for flexible locum work within a supportive primary care environment. Flexible start and finish times are available, allowing you to achieve an excellent work-life balance while maintaining a consistent stream of work.

Key Responsibilities

  Deliver high-quality GP consultations to registered patients

  Assess, diagnose and manage a broad range of acute and chronic conditions

\n
• \n

  Develop personalised treatment and management plans

\n
• \n

  Prescribe safely and in line with current clinical guidelines

\n
• \n

  Make appropriate referrals to secondary and community services

\n
• \n

  Maintain accurate and timely clinical records

\n
• \n

  Work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary practice team

\n
• \n

  Deliver safe, patient-centred care in line with GMC standards

\n

What We're Looking ForEssential

  Full GMC Registration with Licence to Practise

\n
• \n

  Inclusion on the NHS GP Register

\n
• \n

  Right to work in the UK

\n
• \n

  Previous NHS General Practice experience

\n
• \n

  Excellent communication and clinical decision-making skills

\n
• \n

  Ability to work independently within a busy primary care setting

\n

Desirable

  Experience using primary care clinical systems

\n
• \n

  Previous locum GP experience

\n
• \n

  Ability to provide regular ad-hoc availability
