CNC 3 & 5 Axis Miller (Programmer / Setter) Position Type: Full-time, Permanent (40 hours per week) Salary: £19.00 – £21.00 per hour (Dependent on experience) + Overtime & Benefits Optical Precision is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC 3 & 5 Axis Miller, Programmer, Setter to join our growing team. The Role * Program, set, and operate 3-axis and 5-axis CNC milling machines. * Create online programs using Heidenhain controls. * Manufacture high-quality jigs, fixtures, and specialized tooling. * Maintain tight tolerances and inspect your own work for quality assurance. What We Are Looking For * Proven experience programming, setting, and operating 3 & 5 axis CNC mills. * Expertise with Heidenhain control systems. * Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings. * Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive work ethic.
