Class 2 Trunk Driver / Yard Operative - Exeter Location: Exeter Position: HGV Class 2 Driver (Category C) Pay Rate: £17.07 per hour Hours: Monday to Friday, 12:00 noon - 8:00pm Overtime: Plenty of overtime available Pay: Weekly pay We are currently recruiting an experienced Class 2 Driver / Yard Operative to join our client's team based in Exeter. This role offers a mixture of yard duties, customer service and trunking waste from Exeter to Avonmouth, with excellent overtime opportunities available. Duties include: Driving a Class 2 vehicle on planned trunking routes from Exeter to Avonmouth Transporting waste safely between sites Carrying out vehicle checks and reporting any defects Working within the yard when not driving Serving customers and assisting with enquiries Loading and unloading duties as required Keeping the yard clean, safe and organised Completing paperwork and following site procedures Adhering to all health & safety and environmental regulationsRequirements: Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card Previous Class 2 driving experience required Experience in waste, recycling or yard environments desirable Good customer service skills Comfortable working outdoors and carrying out manual handling Reliable, punctual and safety-focusedBenefits: '05; £17.07 per hour '05; Plenty of overtime available '05; Monday to Friday shifts '05; 12:00 noon - 8:00pm working hours '05; Driving and yard-based role '05; Weekly pay '05; Ongoing position with immediate start available for the right candidate
